This weekly podcast dishes out practical advice for parents by parents dealing with anything from skin health issues and finding childcare to travel and extracurricular activities. The episodes vary in time length but you’ll usually need at least 30 minutes to get all of the good stuff.
This podcast has great information on discussing important family issues given to you in manageable fifteen minute chunks. It is a faith-based, Christian family podcast in which the host invites Dr. Bob Barnes among others to discuss topics on engaging with children on the issues that they face nowadays.
I like the New York Times because as far as a news source goes, they seem to be to not be as heavily biased as either the more right or left leaning news outlets. Also, they have a partnership with ASU to offer students a free subscription!
The BBC is another great option for news. They give an especially interesting outside look at the U.S. as well as other world news from a different perspective that still seems somewhat aligned and can be fact-checked with local news. I also secretly love seeing news about the royals.
